Brummer raises $650m for Carve, sets up macro move

Brummer & Partners, the $14 billion Stockholm-based group led by Patrik Brummer and Klaus Jäntti, is moving back into the discretionary global macro space for the first time in six years.

The news comes hot on the heels of Brummer’s launch this month of one of the biggest new hedge funds in Europe this year, raising an initial $650 million for its Carve capital structure arbitrage strategy run by the former managers of the group’s Zenit global equity fund....
