A long/short non-US international equity strategy that has so far been operating off the radar of most hedge fund investors is Sonian Capital, a value-driven firm run by former Liberty Square analyst and Goldman Sachs equities trader Dominique Levy.

Having started Sonian in Boston in 2007, Levy is now based in London and the strategy was expanded and effectively relaunched last year following the arrival in June 2011 of former Liberty Square colleague and Asian equity specialist Joshua Kennedy.
