We have had a pretty lively discussion so far
on whether or not Asia's time is here for good, and it seems
that around this table at least, the consensus is that it is.
It is interesting to see that over time more and more assets
are actually being managed in the region. And one of the only
topics we have not covered yet is whether or not you need to
have a local presence to participate in Asia and, if so, what
type and where should it be based.
Many funds of hedge funds have already announced plans to
open research offices next year, while others are starting with
