Elise Hubsher is a vice president of Northwater Capital Management and heads its New York office, as well as being part of the firm's investment committee. Hubsher, who has more than 20 years of financial services experience, is responsible for marketing the firm's market-neutral fund-of-hedge funds to institutional investors in the US, which primarily includes structuring portable alpha solutions.

Prior to joining Northwater in January 2003, Hubsher headed various equity derivative marketing initiatives targeting institutional investors at JP Morgan. Prior to that, she spent four years with Goldman Sachs in the fixed-income sales and trading area.

Daniel MacDonald is a portfolio manager for alternative investments at the $69 billion Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board.

MacDonald, who is a graduate of York University, is responsible for portfolio construction, risk monitoring, due diligence and hedging of the managed futures and market-neutral hedge fund portfolios, as well as liasing with the external managers.
