Fullerton puts in place a powerful platform
Since 2003, when Fullerton Fund Management made the transition from the investment arm of Temasek Holdings to become a fully fledged investment company in its own right, it has become an increasingly important player in Singapores alternative asset management world.
Four years on, alternative investments including fund of hedge funds, hedge funds and absolute return long-only funds account for approximately a third of Fullertons total assets under management.
Three funds of hedge funds and various managed accounts are run by a six-strong fund of hedge funds team, headed by Shirin Ismail. The three pillars of the Fullerton investment philosophy are diversification for stability, strategic allocation and manager selection through rigorous due diligence.
