Stephen Baker leads Accenture UK hedge fund solutions practice. He is currently responsible for all Accenture’s UK hedge fund clients. The type of work delivered for the clients ranges from high level consulting through to technology, application maintenance and support.
Previous to this role Stephen was involved in a large transformation programme at a leading UK investment bank, focused on equity derivatives, prime brokerage, FX and FX options.
He spent ten years at Bloomberg where he held a number of management roles including managing and developing ‘Bloomberg Tradebook’ – an electronic agency brokerage in Europe. This entailed managing client relationships, heading up sales and marketing and driving strategic change.
He spent 18 months in New York for Bloomberg where he was responsible for the sales and marketing to top-tier investment banks and asset managers.
