LGT Capital Partners launches a UCITS version of the Crown Managed Futures Fund

UCITS versions of hedge funds will give investors more choice to access funds like the Crown Managed Futures Fund, Werner von Baum partner of Swiss based LGT Capital Partners told Absolute UCITS.


The master version of the fund, Crown Managed Futures, is a fund of funds in managed futures and global market trends. Was launched 10 years ago and it has $670 million assets under management. The UCITS fund, like the master fund, has two primary goals in the mid to long term: to achieve absolute positive performance; and to provide diversification to portfolios that use traditional assets such as equities, cash and bonds, according to von Baum.
