New York-based lawyer Daniel Viola of Sadis and Goldberg told the Forum that many non-US-based managers were concerned about the Dodd-Frank legislation. "The Securities and Exchange Commission gave a comment period on the Dodd-Frank rules. We said they shouldn't impose SEC regulation on firms already registered and regulated in a foreign jurisdiction, but I don't they will change their mind,"...
