The two-day Summit concluded with a panel of experienced portfolio managers and hedge fund business leaders, who came together to discuss industry consolidation and the future for boutique firms.
Panellists included Michael Browne, the veteran equity manager who took his long/short fund from Sofaer Capital to Martin Currie last year, and Loïc Fery, ex-global head of credit strategies at Calyon and founder of Chenavari Investment Managers, a fast-growing London credit firm that set up in 2007 and now manages $1.8 billion.
