Global CTA Millburn makes significant push into Asia

Millburn Ridgefield Corporation, the Connecticut-based $2.2 billion systematic CTA, is building its presence in Asia, with Japan the first leg of its globalisation strategy.

The firm recently set up an office in Japan through its affiliate Millburn International and brought in local veteran Seiji Ishii from Wellington International Management to head it. Next the firm is eyeing Korea, where it has just entered into a strategic distribution deal with a large local player.
