Investment freedom and calculated risk-taking is key, argues Graham
In her interview-style address to the delegates Kathryn Graham, a director and member of the investment committee of BT Pension Scheme Management, the pensions’ advisory arm of the BT Pension Scheme, told delegates about her wish-list for hedge funds. This list was delivered in the context of investing in hedge funds and knowing that the businesses would still be there when the pensioners retired.
Graham’s take on investing comes from more than 15 years of experience in capital markets, derivatives and hedge funds giving her a deep understanding about what goes on in the investment world. Her work as a founder trustee of the Hedge Fund Standards Board aims to bring some of the governance and structure that exists in the long-only world to the hedge fund world.
