Alaska Permanent hires new CIO

Jay Willoughby took up the post of chief investment officer at the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation on 1 November with an annual salary of $325,000.

He replaces Jeffrey Scott, who left in August to join Wurts and Associates in Seattle to lead that firm’s discretionary investment practice. Max Giolitti, a director of asset allocation and risk at Alaska Permanent, joined Scott at Wurts.
