Holland Capital, a new London-based managed futures outfit founded by three ED&F Man Commodities Markets veterans, is up and running with a fund focused entirely on soft commodities.
The Cayman-domiciled Demeter Fund – named after the Greek goddess of the harvest –invests only in agricultural softs, with an emphasis on cocoa, coffee and grains. It debuted last August with partner capital, and the firm is in discussions with a number of potential investors.
