Kenmar, Olympia tie the knot

The race to consolidate assets continues, as the larger
funds of funds take advantage of scale to make inroads into the
institutional sector and build resources to cater to the
growing move towards customisation. The latest merger is
between the Kenmar Group and the Olympia Group of Companies, a
move that takes the combined entity to $3.3 billion with a
reinforced global presence. The two firms share a similar
investment philosophy and both use a top-down macro perspective
