Finisterre Capital, the $1.6 billion London-headquartered emerging-market total return specialist that is majority-owned by US-based Principal Global Investors, has hired Darren Walker from JP Morgan Chase as the latest step in the expansion of its investment and trading team.
Walker, who was a managing director at the bank, is joining as portfolio manager on the Finisterre Global Opportunity Fund – reporting to Yan Swiderski, a founding partner of Finisterre and the lead portfolio manager on the fund.
