Aberdeen Asset Management has two things to consider when it comes to adding hedge funds to the money it manages for its £183 billion of third-party client assets under management. The first is where hedge funds fit into the overall asset mix, a topic covered by chief investment officer Anne Richards in the day two opening session, ‘The Art of Hedge Fund Investing’ (see opposite page).
