Macro opportunities abound amid global state of flux between hope and fear

I n an environment where the mood is constantly changing between fear and hope, many macro managers thrive as the turbulence creates plenty of opportunities to be exploited. The panellists discussed the opportunities and risks created by the Eurozone debacle, the slowdown and manufacturing weakness in Asia and China, as well as the fact that the US seems to be dangerously close to a fiscal cliff’s edge.
