With just over a month to go, the final programme for this year's EuroHedge Summit – to be held again on 28-29 April at its traditional venue in the Palais de la Bourse in Paris – is taking shape.

We are delighted to be able to confirm the list of speakers for each of our major strategy sessions – focusing on CTA and quant strategies, macro, commodities and energy, equities, credit and distressed, plus a major session towards the end of the event on fixed income and currency.

We are also pleased to confirm the topics for most of our parallel stream sessions, which are taking place as usual on the first afternoon of the event.

The equities session on the second morning will feature Russell Clark of Horseman, a EuroHedge award-winner for both of the last two years, together with seasoned managers Martin Woodcock of Millgate Capital, Charlie Michaels of Sierra Global and Paul Ruddock of Lansdowne Partners.
And a major session on fixed income and currency strategies on the second afternoon will feature five new speakers at this event including David Lofthouse of Prologue, Alan Burnell of Nylon and Gerard Gardner of North Asset Management.
Other big names talking at the event for the first time include Tim Wong of Man AHL, Harold de Boer of Transtrend, Guillaume Fonkenell of Pharo, Nagi Kawkabani of Brevan Howard and Jim Chanos of Kynikos Associates.

The stream sessions on the first afternoon will again afford the opportunity for us to drill down into some more detailed topics and issues covering a range of operational, investment and regulatory areas. These will include an important session on best practices featuring COOs Neil McCallum of Capula and Martin Pabari of CQS; and another session on fund of funds, asking whether the model is broken; and, if so, how to reinvent it?

The event this year will begin again on the evening of 27 April with an early evening wine tasting – providing delegates with an early networking opportunity and a chance to pick up their badges for the following day.

There will also be ample further time over the following two days for further networking in and around the exhibition space during the coffee breaks, lunch breaks and cocktails on the evening of
28 April.

Despite the challenging conditions in the global economy and for the industry, demand for tickets has again been very strong and we are again expecting a turnout during the two days of 800 or more.
