More big names join top-level line-up for Hong Kong Forum
The final programme for this year's AsiaHedge Forum – to be held on 17-18 March at its traditional venue the JW Marriott Hotel in Hong Kong – is now all but finalised.
Keynote speakers: Robert Lloyd George of Lloyd George Management
and Jerry Wang of Vision Investment Management
We are delighted to be able to confirm the list of topics for each of our sessions along with many of the speakers.
We will kick off the conference again with an update on the Asia-Pacific hedge fund industry using data collected by our research teams at HedgeFund Intelligence. Following that, a heavyweight panel of macro analysts, including Louis Vincent Gave of Marshall Wace, and Richard Yetsenga of HSBC, will discuss 'The global and regional economic outlook' moderated by Stephen Roach, chairman of Morgan Stanley Asia.
The two-day programme is designed to address the issues most topical to you and your industry. We will discuss the major strategy areas, what investors want and whether they are getting it, issues affecting boutique managers and start-ups, as well as regulatory trends, and much more.
The Forum is renowned for attracting a top line-up of speakers, and this year is no different. You will hear from keynote speakers Jerry Wang, founder of Vision Investment Management, and Robert Lloyd George, founder and chairman of Lloyd George Management. In addition, Ted Tanimura of C2G Advisors, Rupert Foster of Matrix Group, Peter H. Fletcher of Parly Company, Mattia Nocera of Belgrave Capital Management and many more, will share their views on the industry and its outlook.
A full list of sessions and speakers can be found here.
The event this year will begin for the first time the night before the conference on Tuesday 16 March, with an early evening cocktail reception sponsored by Citi at the Island Shangri-La Hotel – providing delegates with an early networking opportunity and a chance to pick up their badges for the following day.
There will also be ample time over the following two days for further networking during the coffee breaks, lunch breaks and cocktails on the evening of 17 March.
Despite the challenging conditions in the global economy and for the industry, we are again expecting a big turnout during the two days of 300 or more.
