Martin Armitage-Smith has worked for 25 years in finance, including 14 successful years in proprietary trading for Citibank, where he also gave frequent technical forecasting seminars around the world. During his career Martin has progressively explored connections between markets and other disciplines, such as psychology, ecology, NLP, system theory and consciousness. He is currently managing editor of Mozambique Review, and co-founder of Motherland Entertainment, a talent agency managing African artists, including Youssou N'Dour of Senegal. Martin has acted as an angel investor in a number of art, music and media projects, and has been an energy practitioner for over 10 years.

Steven Bell, GLC
Steven Bell is a director of GLC, the long-established hedge fund company based in London. He is principal portfolio manager of its Global Macro Fund, with AuM of U$600 million. Steven started his City career 25 years ago as chief economist for Morgan Grenfell, then Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, Deutsche Bank and Deutsche Asset Management. His macro hedge fund experience came in the five years before he joined GLC, when he was fund director of Deutsche’s asset allocation funds. Steven has Economics degrees from the London School of Economics and Stanford University and was an Economic Adviser at the Treasury.

Jeffrey Bronheim is general counsel and a member of the executive committee of Cheyne Capital Management (UK) LLP. Stephen Foster is the COO for the Single Manager Hedge Fund Group at Credit Suisse Alternative Investments (CSAI). CSAI has approximately $220 billion of managed assets across hedge funds, private equity, real estate, credit, and quantitative and index strategies. Stephen previously had roles within the prime brokerage business at Credit Suisse including global co-head of hedge fund services. Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons as a partner in 2008, Allan was a managing director, principal and head of the legal team for Bear Stearns's equity and fund derivatives, prime brokerage and asset management businesses in Europe and the Middle East.
