Irish-domiciled funds pass €1 trillion as UCITS/QIFs take off


The assets of Irish-domiciled investment funds have reached a record high, passing the €1 trillion mark, according to figures from the Central Bank of Ireland. This means a 40% increase since the end of 2009.

Assets stood at €1,008 billion at the end of November — up from €711 billion two years earlier. Irish funds recorded the highest level of net inflows in Europe in the first half of last year, according to a report by European Fund and Asset Management Association.
