Harris leaves Quam, Potter now manager for Silkroad Mongolia

Richard Harris, the CEO of Quam Asset Management (QAM) which manages the $10 million Silkroad Mongolia Fund, has left the firm.

The Hong Kong-based Quam wrote to investors last week that Harris’s departure is not expected to negatively impact the performance of the portfolio, adding that the same investment process and the investment team are in place.

Simon Potter, who has been with the fund since it was launched last August, has taken over the role of portfolio manager.

The fund, has returned -10.7% in the five month period to end-December, compared to its benchmark the Silkroad Index which returned -22.5%
