Korea Teachers prepares $600m in direct allocations


Korea Teachers Credit Union, one of the largest pension funds in Korea with assets of over $18 billion, is set to increase its hedge fund assets in 2012.

The giant fund intends to invest around $600 million in overseas infrastructure products and hedge funds. This comes as part of a plan to increase alternative investments to account for roughly 25% of total assets within the next four years.
