The $1.3 billion Camden Council pension fund, based in London, is down to the final shortlist as it assesses funds of hedge funds to handle a $70 million allocation.
Five shortlisted candidates have handed in a request for proposal for the specialist multi-strategy mandate. The final round of interviews are scheduled for early February, with the final decision due to be made in early March. When funded, the allocation will make Camden the latest UK pension fund to enter into alternatives. The mandate will account for around 5% of the plan’s
