Global hedge fund administrator Viteos is looking to make inroads in the high-potential Asian market and has just appointed industry veteran Jay Moghe to head the newly opened office in Singapore, which will be Viteos’ APAC headquarters.
The firm wants to gain market share in the region’s two major hedge fund hubs: Singapore and Hong Kong. Firm CEO Shankar Iyer says the market for ‘next-generation’ fund services is "underserved". The move comes as the focus on operational efficiency is on the rise in Asia, leading to increased need for institutional-quality fund services in the region.
