Man Group signs up to UN’s responsible investing principles

Man Group has become a signatory to the United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) – a framework designed to encourage sustainable investing by incorporating environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues into investment decision-making and ownership practices.

The PRI initiative has 988 signatories globally, with 126 in the UK. Man – which owns GLG Partners and is the biggest publicly-quoted alternative investments firm in the world – is the largest UK-based alternatives manager to sign up to the UN principle so far.
