Rousselet to head hedge funds at Unigestion

Unigestion, a Geneva-based asset manager with $12.7 billion, has promoted Nicolas Rousselet as managing director, head of hedge funds. Rousselet, who was previously strategy manager responsible for arbitrage, credit and equity hedge strategies, has also become a member of Unigestion’s executive committee.

In this role, Rousselet will lead the development of Unigestion’s $3.72 billion institutional fund of hedge funds business. With the support of the hedge funds investment committee, which Rousselet has been a member of since 2008, he will continue to deepen Unigestion’s research to offer value added investment solutions to diversify institutional investor’s traditional asset allocation.
