Persistent Asset Management moves HQ to Hong Kong

The fund of hedge funds platform Persistent Asset Management, which was launched initially on the West Coast of the US, is looking to boost its exposure to China-focused managers after securing a Type 9 asset management license from the Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission.

The peripatetic $1.1 billion fund of hedge funds was originally established in San Francisco, California and moved its global headquarters to Singapore in 2007, but relocated recently its headquarters to Hong Kong – citing the need to be physically close to single managers investing in Greater-China related securities
