Stratton Street surpasses $1bn in assets landmark

Assets under management and advice at London-based Stratton Street Capital assets have surged to $1 billion, having risen from $593 million at the start of 2011, according to a statement from the firm.

Following the launch of currency classes, including Swiss francs, to the firm’s Renminbi Bond Fund, assets in that fund have risen from $94.8 million to $118.3 million.

This acceleration played a part in the increasing assets under management and advice to push Stratton Street past the $1 billion landmark.

Commenting on the rise in assets, Stratton Street partner and portfolio manager Andy Seaman said: “We
