Cheyne leads as credit funds make hay again


Credit hedge funds posted a second successive strong set of returns in February. Cheyne Total Return Credit led with a gain of 7.55% and is up 14.04% this year.

Numen Credit Opportunities made 4.50% on the month, while Alcentra Structured Credit Opportunity was up 3.53%. Capital Four Credit Opportunities was up 4.23% and Vega Credit Opportunities gained 3.59%.

Pamplona Credit Opportunities, BCM High Yield, Chenavari Toro Capital, RAB European Credit Opportunities and WB Opportunities all had monthly gains in excess of 3%, while NAC Credit Value returned 2.78%.

LNG Europa Credit was up 2.70%, Gladwyne gained 2.29%, Avoca
