Managed futures strategies continue robust start to the year


February was another generally profitable month for most managed futures funds in more strongly trending markets than were seen in most of 2011.

GLC Behavioural Trend returned 7.49%, Estlander & Partners Global Markets XL was up 5.74% (with the standard version up 2.85%), QCM Global Natural Resources gained 4.92%, Amplitude Klassik made 4.76%, and Superfund Cayman was up 4.38%.

There were also decent gains for Amplitude Sinfonie and QCM Global Diversified (both up 4.00%), Solaise Systematic (3.25%), Transtrend Diversified Trend (up 2.31% in its Enhanced Risk version and 1.49% in Standard Risk), Oxeye Growth (2.30%), Man AHL Diversified
