Sustainable investing fund Branta sees assets up 64% in Q1


Branta Solutions, the sustainable investing hedge fund launched by Amsterdam and London-based Roodhals Capital in mid-2009, has seen assets grow by nearly two thirds so far this year, with inflows primarily coming from sophisticated institutional investors in Europe and the US.

Assets stand at $69 million, up from $42 million at the start of the year. In response, Roodhals is launching a US dollar participation share class this month to accommodate American investors.

Branta was the first fund to be seeded by IMQubator, which is backed by Dutch pensions giant APG and which seeks to nurture early-stage managers
