Ex-Tiger China hand gets set for launch

Ex-Tiger Management analyst Adam Leitzes has set up his own hedge fund in Hong Kong under the Karst Peak Capital moniker. He aims to raise at least $50 million by the time he starts trading in the second quarter of this year.

Leitzes had worked for over three years at the firm headed by celebrated hedge fund manager Julian Robertson, first as a New York-based analyst and then two years ago as director of Tiger’s Shanghai operation, where he helped Robertson assess private and public opportunities in China.
