Bounce-back in global equity stalls as markets turn volatile

Following a strong two-month run for most global equity funds, the increasingly unsettled market conditions in March saw as many funds losing money as making it.

The biggest winners on the month included Strategic Global Innovation (up 5.48% in March and 15.89% in the first quarter), Parus (up 5.40% in March and 21.02% for Q1), and Horseman Global (4.33 in March and 7.97% in Q1).

There were also solid gains for Eschler Global, which made 4.20% last month and is up 9.79% in Q1, and the Global Consumer Loyalty Fund, up 4.05% in March for a 22.10% return
