Forward notifications for redemptions from hedge funds dropped in April, according to data from fund administrator GlobeOp Financial Services.
GlobeOp’s Forward Redemption Indicator measured 2.00% for April, down from 3.23% in March. CEO Hans Hufschmid said it was the second lowest month on record, and the lowest recorded April figure.
The Indicator represents the sum of forward redemption notices received from investors in hedge funds administered by GlobeOp, divided by the assets under administration at the beginning of the month for GlobeOp clients.
