Arden announces macro RIC

Arden Asset Management has announced plans to launch a global macro registered investment company. The $7.38 billion New York-based funds of hedge funds firm founded by Averell Mortimer in 1993 already has a number of RICs through its merger with Robeco Sage, but this is the first one to be branded with just the Arden name. The Arden Macro Fund will invest the majority of its assets in the Arden Macro Master Fund, which will in turn invest in underlying global macro managers across a number of strategies including discretionary global, commodity trading advisers and volatility arbitrage.
