Japan’s BFC on the lookout for new manager talent


Japanese independent advisory body BFC Asset Management is currently researching global macro, commodity trading advisors and Japanese equity long/short managers as it looks for managers to add to clients’ portfolios.

BFC currently advises over 100 corporate pension funds in Japan and offers customised fund solutions as well as funds of funds. It is understood to be looking to add to all the above asset classes due to demand from its underlying client base who are looking to diversify away from their core holdings.
