Norway’s Opplysningsvesents ready to reconsider hedge funds via CTAs


Norwegian government agency Opplysningsvesents Fond is understood to be looking to make investments in commodity trading advisor funds as it turns back towards hedge funds.

After a shift in policy in 2010 saw it moving away from hedge funds, it is now understood to be looking for non-correlated investments, and believes that hedge funds – particularly CTAs – and real estate offer the most appealing profile among alternative asset classes.
