Plural risk chief Jeff Hurwitz jumps to Davidson Kempner

Risk management expert Jeff Hurwitz joined $19.5 billion Davidson Kempner Capital Management as a managing director in May from Plural Investments, where he was chief risk officer from April 2008 to March 2012.

Long/short equity Plural Investments was founded by SAC Capital Advisors alum Matt Grossman in March 2008 and launched in January 2009 with $900 million.
