Swedish bank SEB has appointed Peter Herrlin as the new head of its prime brokerage division in London.
Herrlin joined SEB Prime Brokerage in 2010, working with UK and European hedge fund sales, securities finance and SEB Prime Solutions, the bank’s UCITS platform. SEB Prime Solutions launched in late 2010 and, under Herrlin’s stewardship, has grown to encompass seven funds.
Herrlin takes over his new role from Atilla Olesen, who has transferred to Denmark as head of the firm’s Enskilda Equities business.
