Octagon Capital launches levered version of flagship fund


Singapore-based Octagon Capital, a group established by managers formerly employed at the Government Investment Corp (GIC), Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, has launched a levered version of its successful flagship fund, the Octagon Pan Asia Fund.

The new long/short equity strategy, which began trading on 2 July, actively uses leverage to generate monthly returns approximately double that of the flagship fund, according to the managers.
