Treasury Group acquires stake in Octis group


The Treasury Group of Australia has acquired a 20% stake in Singapore-based multi-strategy Asian equity manager Octis Asset Management, with the option to buy a further 10% stake in the firm once assets under management at Octis reach a certain level.

Treasury is a multi-boutique funds management business that acquires stakes in fund managers. By end of March this year it had invested a total of $330 million of seed money and working capital into 11 partnerships, running $17 billion of combined assets.
