RBS appoints head for Asia-Pacific prime broking sales


The Royal Bank of Scotland has appointed ex Barclays executive William Egan as head of mandate sales for prime services in Asia Pacific, a newly created role where he takes responsibility for winning long term prime broking mandates for the bank in FX, rates, flow credit, and futures and options, among other areas.

His appointment comes close on the heels of David Gray, former prime broking head for Asia at UBS, joining RBS in Hong Kong in June as the head of prime services and client execution for Asia Pacific.
