Quantedge grows as performance sizzles


Quantedge, the Singapore-based fund manager, sees its flagship Quantedge Global Fund growing to assets of $500 million by the end of the year. 

The total size of assets under management (AUM) at the global macro fund reached $381 million by the end of August from only $25 million in 2009, $77 million in 2010 and $208 million in 2011.

While the fund says it does not have a target AUM, it will likely be ”about $500 million by year-end”, according to a spokesperson.
