Zeal Asset Management’s AUM soars to $500 million

Assets under management at Zeal Asset Management, led by CEO Franco Ngan, have nearly doubled to $500 million from earlier this year.

The Hong Kong-based group experienced a surge of inflows from funds of funds in recent months after its flagship fund, the Zeal China fund, delivered consistent performance in the past two years.

The long/short Greater China equity fund, which was launched in January 2010, has scaled to a $321 million size. Besides the hedge fund, Zeal also manages over $200 million in long-only strategies.
