Och Ziff and York rake in rewards from Florida State

The Florida State Board of Administration added another $250 million to hedge funds with new allocations to Och Ziff and York Capital. The $130 billion pension fund allocated $150 million to the OZ Domestic Partners II fund and a total of $100 million to York Capital Management in the third quarter. The portfolio of the Florida State Board of Administration this year has gained nearly 12%.

Relying on Cambridge Associates, the Florida State Board of Administration now invests in six managers including Knight Vinke, Taconic Capital Advisors – whose Taconic Opportunity Fund is also part of the Texas
