Tiresias pulls in strong returns for Asia event-driven strategy


Hong Kong-based Tiresias Capital’s event-driven Omni Asia Fund has had a strong first year, returning 22.07% in the 12 months since its January 2010 launch, ahead of its targeted annual returns of more than 15%.

The Caymans-domiciled strategy, which gained 1.71% in December, is managed by Hong Kong-based Matthew Moskey, who previously headed the local operation of UK event-driven specialist Centaurus Capital. Trading is headed by Erik Senko, who worked with Moskey at Centaurus for five years.
