USS set to explore emerging managers


The Universities Superannuation Scheme is open for the first time to seeding of new managers, on a highly selective basis.

This marks a departure from the $48 billion plan’s previous approach, which involved investing only in established managers. While the scheme will not look to set up a seeding platform, it will consider investing in start up managers if the right opportunity arises.
