IKOS reports 56% rise in assets in 2010, high hopes for 2011


IKOS, the 19-year-old systematic trading alternative investment firm led by founder Elena Ambrosiadou, has reported a 56% year-on-year rise in assets to $2.3 billion on the back of a strong year of performance across the group’s main strategies in 2010.

The firm had excellent returns across the board – led by the IKOS FX strategy, which returned 26.3% on the year and won the EuroHedge award for best commodities and currency fund.

The IKOS Futures programme also delivered an excellent risk-adjusted performance, returning 22.8% in the calendar year, while the multi-strategy IKOS Hedge fund was also solidly positive
