UCITS to attract $185bn with Asia as a key focus, says DB report


Investors are set invest more than $185 billion in UCITS III-compliant absolute return funds in 2011, with funds focusing on Asia and China the best placed to receive a boost in allocations, according to a Deutsche Bank report.

Of the survey’s 184 investors, representing more than $2.1 trillion in assets, 42% said they wanted to increase their investments to Asia ex-Japan UCITS strategies, while 34% planned to boost allocations to China funds using the framework.
